About BéréSanké

Kunda African Culture, Music & Dance is professional “Griot” (percussionist and traditional instrumentalist) Kocassalé Dioubaté (Koca) and a host of friends, family and partners in Guinea, West Africa.

Each Kunda instrument is a cultural treasure - skillfully handcrafted in the traditional way by the finest local artisans and handpicked by (or even handmade by) Koca.

Kunda African Culture also coordinates African Music and Dance Workshops in communities across the Pacific Northwest and in Guinea, West Africa.  We strive to create an open, playful atmosphere for participants to explore the traditional roots rhythms of West Africa, while emphasizing their rich cultural and historical context.

Kunda Culture is committed to creating sustainable employment in Africa, adhering to fair trade policies and supporting the community.
